Description
The Victorian Richardson glass claret jug dates to 19th century and the quality of silver plate mount is fabulous. The claret jug comprises of an acorn finial lid with faces that is stamped with Elkington and Co mark. The lower part of the silver plated mount has Roman classical figures with horses. The glass body has a Greek key border at the top and the base with a monogram, resting on a substantial star cut base.
The Richardson claret jug has the most fabulous quality with Roman neo classical figures and horses on the mount of the Elkington silver plate.
Condition Report
