Description
The Roman neo classical claret glass jug dates to 19th century and believe this was produced by Richardson glassworks in Stourbridge. The claret jug comprises of a silver plated hinged lid and handle with a reclining boy on the top of the handle, falling down onto a clear and acid etched with three Roman Neo Classical ladies. The first lady is holding grapes, the central lady is holding a musical instrument while the last is holding a round ball, resting on a star cut base. Truly magnificent.
The Richardson claret jug has the most fabulous quality acid etched Roman Classical Ladies in three poses.
