Description
The Georgian tea caddy flask dates to 1760 and is a fabulous example of an early tea caddy with very unusual stopper and engraved body. The tea caddy flask comprises of a star cut stopper with cut shoulders and sides on the main body with two engraved roses with GREEN for green tea, resting on a flat base with polished pontil.
The Georgian tea flask is a rare shape with unusual stopper with an attractive engraved body that may have some Jacobite significance with the two engraved open roses.
Condition Report
The condition of the tea caddy is good with some minor nibbles on the stopper and some nibbles on the inside of the neck rim due to genuine wear nothing serious. Please see pictures.
