Description
The covered goblet and cover comprises of an engraved lid with cut finial, falling down onto the most magnificent engraved huntsman in traditional dress with knapsack on while pointing a gun at a stag surrounded by trees and foliage with a female deer, falling down onto the most magnificent cut body, falling down onto a substantial facet cut knopped stem, resting on a scallop cut foot with the most intricate cutting underneath with inner polished pontil.
The Victorian Bohemian cover and goblet date to 1860 and is a fabulous example of engraving and depicts a gentlemen in tradition hunting dress with gun aiming at a stag while the female is in the background with the fabulous engraved scenery not to mention the cutting and rare amber colour.
